Welcome to our home away from home at the beach.

We have some things we would like to share with you about our house and the surrounding areas.
First of all, this is a rural property. We have a septic system and are on well water which is filtered with a UV system. We also get some awesome storms here, at times the power can go out during a bad storm. We have set up the house to make your holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Thank you for visiting!

SEPTIC SYSTEM
The septic system is a little different than a sewer system. We have a tank and a septic field. It is very important to only put toilet paper and human waste down the toilet. Please no feminine products, q-tips, condoms, personal wipes ( even if it says flushable) or anything that doesn’t come out of our bodies.
OCEAN SAFETY
The Bay of Fundy has the largest tides in the world. They can range up to 40ft. So every 6 hours the water changes rapidly. Please be mindful when around the water and rivers.
WELL WATER / FILTRATION
We are on a well. We have installed a UV light and filtration system. Our water from any tap in the house is safe to drink!
LOCK UP
This area of Clare is generally safe. But things still happen. Lock the house up when not at home. It is also recommended not to leave valuables in your car.
SAFETY
The house has a first aid kit in the kitchen cupboard. If you have a serious injury, call 911. The road in front of the house is a highway, be mindful if walking alongside it.
Please do not go downstairs to the basement. There is no safety railing and there is nothing but boring stuff down there.
